I mounted, a coil 20 cm with 24 turns of wire 0.30
I have not calibrated for good surfing, but already gives me great results
a gold ring 15 cm Smiley

   The surf as is , is not a gold machine.   Easy to make, Build and works .  Without Mods, it will not get down to the 10us mark to find gold.

  In order to find Natural Gold, Nuggets it has to get down to the 10 or so Sample Delay.   You will need a FAST coil and bump up the sample rate.   It has no provisions for GB.  That would require a Second Sample.

In fact I read somewhere that replacing the R25
with a trimmer or a potentiometer you could adjust a 'other function
