Compass Magnum Relic 7

I have a Compass Magnum Relic 7, quite a relic indeed but effective. Mine is prior to the factrory fire production. I have a copy of a Magnum 220 manual sufficient to uderstand the device but no schematics which I desire. I am an electronic tech and want to enhance the device I have. Its supposed to go to a depth of 24 inches but with larger coil and more power could go deeper. Any one have one or done any mods ? Willing to share manual as is.
