We've got you beat on the heat here in Southern Arizona, but fortunately even during the monsoon, our humidity generally stays below 60% unless it's raining.   Go have a shrimp po'boy for me when you get a chance.

Hello seldom I am on vacation next week and will be down in galveston hunting around Tuesday and maybe Wednesday, any tips about hunting the beach and around the first sandbar, I was also think of taking my metal detector over by my wade fishing holes off of 8 mile road and at the end of sportsman rd, I wonder if anyone ever hunts the bay side where I go wade fishing? Any advice is always welcome.
Is there a lot of people in here from tx area?

That's where I live funny.

It gets hunted off and on I hit it hard in the winter and do good. I would try 13 mile road east of the state park also There was a ghost town there and I still find a little silver from time to time. I have seen lots of people hunting out east so west end might be your best shot. If you got all day you might cross the ferry and try the Zoo the county is saying that they have had record crowds all summer
