Hello,

I am french, living in a small village in the Vosges mountain, between Starsbourg and Nancy.
Since 10 years, I am looking for metal detection ans espaecially gold detection.
I have a little experience with metal detection, as I was young, I used a Tesoro to prospect in the forest but since this time, no more detection.
So, here I am.

Now, I look for a good metal detector with which I can prospect for artefacts.
I also look for a good specialized gold detctor (hight frequency).
As, I like electronics, want  to buid a good PI detector. In this way, I am looking for drawings and diagrams.

I think, I will learn more in this forum,

So thanks a lot for this !

Yours,

Michel

Welcome to the forum, Michel. Great place with lots of useful info plus helpful, friendly members. Neat that you are getting back into detecting as an adult. Did you make some good finds prospecting the forest when you were young? Sue

Hello and Welcome to our forum!

The best machines for detecting gold nuggets are the Minleba GPX-4500 and its previous models. For some of the earlier models like the SD-2200 there are also many mods available.

Hope you will enjoy our forum!

Best wishes,

Christian

Thank you very much.
My first question concerns the DIY detector.
As I am not a beginner in electronic but not a professionnal, I search a good metal dectector which can discrimate metals.
So I will post in the DIY forums, the links I find.
If you can hemp me in choice !

Yours,

Michel
