Just wanted to drop in and say "Hello"  Been wanting to get into relic hunting for a long time now!  Found a Fisher 1266-X on Craigslist that needs some work and hoping that everyone here can help me get it up and running!

Welcome abord! You did very well buying a Fisher 1266-X. While it is an older machine it is still a marvelous relic detector offering good depth and discrimination ... also it's pretty easy to use. You should be doing really fine using. Whenever you have a question just ask and we will be happy to assist you.
