Thanks for accepting me into the board. I am a retired individual, who has an obsession with making stuff. 3d printers, CNC machines, Model railroads, carpentry, boat building, real boating and fishing, and now building a Clone Pi-AVR metal detector. Getting things ready for the arrival of the detector kit. Made my 18650 battery holders (3d prints), printed a search coil shoe (3d printed), will work on the handle over the next few days. Some questions about the search coil. Anyone know the inductance value for the search coil? Also, how does coil capacitance figure into its sensitivity? Has anyone worked with the Clone Pi-AVR package before, was my investment worth it for a beginner?
Looking forward to your wealth of wisdom!
albert
