Hey Tabdog-
Yesterday my 11 year old and I went to a church that was built in 1830- during the civil war the Confederate troops removed the stained glass windows to melt the lead down to make bullets, in the 1920's or 30's a tornado destroyed all but the walls- we detected about 45 minutes. found some rusty iron that was about all. Can't believe you are a David too. along with the D.O.B.- this week has been freaky- hope it means freaky good. Have you checked out Hurricane creek?

No I have not.

Is there some good spots on that creak?

Hey Tab- did you know there were several thousand Union troops against 600 Union troops at Lake Chicot?

No, I did not know that.

That is a little far also. I do not drive that far. 70 miles is
pushin it for me.

I know where tha Union troops crossed the Arkansas River
to take Little Rock. Strangely, few people know that.

I know where the Confederate troops had artillery set up
at the low water crossing of the Arkansas River.

I know where a very large Union camp was for years after
the war. I know of other camps also. Sadly development
has distroyied most of the treasures that were there. I
have found a few. I am trying to find huntin places that
are not so populated.

Maybe we can meet up sometime.

Happy Huntin,

Tabdog

No one lives on the south side, but it is
all privately owned.
