toleary34 you a nice guy but you trying unknowingly to open a can of worms LOL That topic has been debated to death here, on other boards and around campfires all over the south were 2 or more treasure hunters meet. There are a few facts out there, and if you do a search here you will find that some believe some don't.

Hi nice to meet you. I would suggest you start small myself. Try metal detecting that is a good way to start.

interesting.....I'll be following up on it in my own research in future, right now i am researching more local facts and legends while it's still summer and i can be looking for these particular places.  come winter, it's game on for researching everything i can about everything else out there
