Go Up Go Down

This is my first Post on this forum.

To be honest, i only joined because i need help with my brand new metal detector, an x-terra 705, never had an MD before.  Undecided so i don't know how to use it, everything is new to me.

I guess the best way to lean is to go out and try it, that's what i'm gonna do.

Sorry, if i don't have much to say at this moment, but i'll let you know what happens.

Now i have to go up and down this forum to find tips and tricks for my x-terra, for what i have seen there's a lot of valuable information, thanks for that, hope i can give something back in the future.

Thanks again for this great place to learn and share.

Numis

Hello, numis......welcome from Arizona.   Yes, the best way to learn your detector is to use it. But you will find lots of tips here (especially in our beginners board) and lots of members who are willing to share advice and experience.

Thanks BitburgAggie_7377, Poseidon-Jim, GoldDigger1950 and homefire! Smiley

I used the 705 yesterday in an old friend's house and i found a couple coins (not that old), a rusty piece of nut or bolt, a very small piece of aluminum and.. that's it.  Grin

Got a little counfused with all the different beeps the MD does, but now that i used it, it's easy to see that the x-terra can find anything, just have to learn a few tricks and tips about it, and learn to listen to it so i know what it's telling me.

That's right cache, have to go dig some holes and put some different coins and metals parts in them so i can listen to the different sounds it makes.

Let's start diggin' my friends!
