Go Up Go Down

Hi I bought my first detectors back in the early 80's and they have paid for themselves about 10 times so far.  I have a lot of old magazines and books and will be going through them to see which ones i want to keep and which ones to sell to other enthusiasts.  The key to enjoying this hobby is research, research and research.  I probably spent 10 days research for every day i actually was out hunting and it usually pays off.  I've hunted from Canada to Colorado and down to the Spanish Fleet wrecks in Florida I've gold hunted on the Osa Peninsula and hunted Drake Bay while there.  I've found Gold, Spanish Conquistador horseshoes, Spanish naval cannon balls, Union & Confederate relics, rings, jewels and a trunk load of gold, silver and copper coins over the years.  If i find one coin or relic its a good day.  If I find none it was a good walk.  Would like to hook up with fellow enthusiasts in my area.  I'm not fast but I'm careful not to miss anything.  I'm 52 with a bum knee so if you're in a hurry I'm not a your optimum TH partner.  I will be trying to find some areas to hunt.  Been a while since I made the rounds asking permission to hunt.
