Hi there from San Diego! My girlfriend and I went gold panning and got some gold for the first time and were inspired to go from lurking around on the forums here. We would like to continue any sort of treasure hunting possible around this area. If anyone has any tips for this area it would be much appreciated in our treasure hunting journeys. Glad to of found this forum.

Do some quick research into why the Silver Strand got its name. Also, pick up a copy of the book San Diego Place Names and you'll have a few hundred tips to start your treasure hunting.

Welcome from Australia from a guy who lived in San Diego for more than 20 years. No, I didn't get all the goodies. Just most of them.
