Hello and Welcome aboard! Sounds like you have a great hunting ground there! Well, Tabdog alleady gave you some great basic advice.

The best detector for hunting in teh gold fields might be a Minelab GP Extreme detector.

Best wishes,

Christian

Thanks for the tips and again for the warm welcome.

Would someone be able to tell me what the best PI and VLF that I can get schematics for.
I mite as well make one of each.

And it is quite the hunting ground, you just have to be careful not to become the hunted.

The GP Extreme look very nice, but can I build my own?

Like I said I can?t buy one, between shipping and tax I ?d be paying triple the original price.

I?ve been looking though the board and it seem the DBP-2010 is the preferred PI, the schematics I?ve found aren?t very clear but I can work with that.
