Hi!

Hi! I'm Shawn. I just recently received my Surf PI and TGSL kits from Silver dog. I have always had an interest in MD but never acted on it. I'm pretty good with electronics so I'm not concerned with assembling my own MD. I was quite suprised to see a large DIY base for this type of thing.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Hi Shawn, welcome to THunting.com.  You'll find a lot of people here that will be happy to give you advice if you run into any problems building your metal detector.  Most of them will even give you good advice  Smiley.   And once you've built the thing you'll find lots of articles that should help you use it to find hidden treasure.

Thanks everyone! I'm looking forward to testing the machines.

I'm not sure where to get the 2 tone modification for the TGSL bit I do have the article and specs for the board and components.
