Hi,quick intro of myself,Another Aussie,Detector enthusiast,on an off in the prospecting game for 20+ years here in Australia,
Currently own a wide range of metal detectors from Modern units to dated,in Pulse Induction,VLF,Ib,T/R etc.
I dabble in some Electronics,an work in the Satellite Industry,also contract in various Mechanical/Electrical Industries in my occupation.
An yes I have found Gold prospecting,recently, thru to the past 20years plus on a number of detecting trips.
I love this hobby,an the social network it creates.an enjoy conversing with Enthusiast from all over the world on this subject.

Hi, ocean I'm new to the web site myself!! Havent been detecting long myself, only started this year; I'm hooked!!made afew neat finds my favorite a shilling from 1948.
 Hey there to GD thanks for the scoop handle just playing around with it today!! no chance to take it out though this wind and rain takes away the fun real fast

Hey, Silverscoop! Bout time you figured this forum thing out. It was VERY rough today at the shoreline. There will not be much beach left come Tuesday morning.

Try the scoop in a sand pit tomorrow when it clears up a bit. I have an all day appointment on Tuesday so can't make it. Drat!
