Welcome from New Mexico!

Jump on in and join the crew.

First thing you need to do is turn that dang Discrimination OFF!

Set the Sensitivity up until it chatters and then back it off a bit until it's usable.

Dig it ALL until you learn what the machine is telling you.

Read, Read and ReRead some more.

Well--I'd say, set the sens at bout 1/2 and the disc to where a nickle just BARELY sounds off, and move to a different detecting spot, where there is not so much trash, then figure it out from there, sounds like your'e in a landfill area, after you learn more bout it, then come back to the trashy area  Wise=mebbe a few weeks or so Wise

Welcome to the site. I've always been told in trashy areas to try a smaller coil as well as what they said?
