just came across this in a google search. treasure hunting has always fascinated me, most by means of exploring. I dont have a detector and most cool little places I have found (nothing too cool) have been from hiking around or while looking for a place to blast some rounds IE somewhat remote places.

Being in ca we dont have a whole lot of places to explore or things to find with the exception of old stone foundations, mines or ghost towns. most of the towns are protected anyways.
