Hi all,

I am Caterpillar or "Cat". I am a member in good standing on the sister forum "detektorforum.de" and have decided to join here for a number of reasons. One being that I am travelling a lot love to meet fellow detectorists around the world whereever I may go. I am German (you guessed it), in my later 40s and have been actively detecting for 3 years now. Metal detecting is heavily restricted and regulated in Germany and even more so in the state I live in. So I always try to take my XP Deus along when I travel for some exciting finds. You won't see me posting all that much unless I am preparing for a trip and may then be looking for detectorists who might be willing to take me out into the field or go for a beer.
