Hello everyone,

I am 39 years old and have never been detecting. My son got me interested, and hope to put in at least a weekend a month, with him of course. Even if I do not find a thing, I believe it will be time well spent.

Are tehre many people metal detecting in Romania? Romania is a country I always wanted to travel to but unfortunately haven't had the time yet.

Well I am from Romania but currently live in Southern California. Romania is a beautiful country with a lot of history. We go to Romania 3 times a year. I do not believe I have ever seen anyone in Romania with a metal detector, but there seems to be a constant stream of archeological finds from the time of the Dacians and before so I look forward to it. Since Romania is a very old country, the earth there had plenty of time to capture and conserve a lot of interesting relics for us to find. I look forward to detecting there.

I am from romania, and i live in romania.
Here you do not able to detect in archeological sites.
It is forbidden. I have a minelab, explorer II.
It is a good detectors ?
