Hey welcome aboard, you'll enjoy this forum.

Your in the right spot there on S. Padre, there have been great beach finds over the years, but you also have to pay attention to local postings on detecting the beach areas, there used to be a military testing area along the beach, so there could be some ordinance still active and buried.
