Pendleton Roundup has to be one of the oldest running rodeos in America. I hope to see it once before I leave this world.

Welcome from S.E. Texas.
Good luck and hope you can dry a bit too.
We've had enough rain to last a while.

By the way, yawl know how bull riding got started.
Couple of cowboys were sitting on a fence, by the corral, one evening.
Just sitting, drinking a cold one and contemplating life.
You would know about how cowboys do a lot of contemplating!
Any way, one of the old boys kinda cocked his head and thought a minute.
Then he looked at his buddy and said -
"Hey Bud, hold my beer and watch this"!
Thus was born a new sport, bull riding!
No word on whether the boy survived his ride or not but obviously it looked like fun. Cheesy
