Sounds like you may be somewhere near Buffalo. My wife is from Groesbeck and has kin folk all up in that area. Hope you can find some to get out detecting with. You will find that today's newer detectors are a vast improvement ovet the older ones. The 'old' hunting grounds become 'hew' again. Good luck!
