Bounty Hunter 505

Hi everyone... I hope to get some new friends and pointers with you...  I just got a Bounty Hunter 505 and I'm ready to start hunting.  I have walked the beaches around here (St Augustine, Daytona and Cresent), and have seen the "hunters on the beach, and I want to start as well.  Any places you can tell me about, I am all ears.

Sharen

 Hello

Hi Sharen,

I haven't been on this board much longer than you have, but welcome.   You'll find a wealth of information from a lot of people that are willing to help you.   In addition to posting questions, as you have with your other thread on sand scoops, I'd recommend using the search option.  I've found lots of useful answers to questions I've had by doing that and/or just scanning the forums.
One other thing I'd suggest is joining a local metal detector club.   (if you search that subject, you'll find people here seem to be pretty evenly split on whether or not that's a good thing....a lot depends on the club and your own personality).

Anyway, welcome and good luck.   Hope to read lots of posts from you.

Hi Sharen,
you need to hit the beaches between Sebastian Inlet and Ft. Pierce. Thats where the GOLD is at and I'll give you a hot tip. Search the edge of the dune line other than the surf zone.

Welcome to the forums, SharenH. As always, those who ask questions learn the most. This is a valuable place and the biggest treasure on the Internet.

I would suggest a few places around Gainesville including the Gainesville raceway parking lots and the corner lot about 1/2 south where the Jaycees have a campground every year.  May have already been picked (big race is always in week 1-2 in March), but always thought would be a good place to look if you can disc out the pull tabs Smiley
