Indeed, you are. Retired in 1991. You?

I have a Tracker IV myself. Nice machine and very light. Important these days. Know what I mean?

Ryan, metal detecting is a gentle form of exercise that will give you a few aches at first which go away with more detecting. So, out there you go! Get fitter. Works every time and you get booty to boot!

GoldDigger is right.

Tha bendin hurts at first.

But it is good fer ya.

Ya get used to it.

If you love it like I do,

it will motivate ya ta get

out there and hunt.

It is all good if ya can

learn ta deal with little

frustrations.

Those little frustrations

get to folks becaues

they make them seem big.

But it is a frame of mind.

I zone out often while doing

it, and that seems to help.

I just would rather detect

than most other things.

Happy Huntin,

Tabdog

Thanks for the welcome and right back at ya! I'm located in Minnesota. I havn't gotten around to buying a metal detector because of not having the money and not having any time. I just enjoy coming on this site after a long day and learning about the hobby so when I do get one I'll be somewhat familiar with it. After all I'm 25 and not many people my age metal detect. So I need all the help I can get from these forums.  Smiley I hope your health holds up and you're able to get out and enjoy some thunting! Best of luck to ya!
