Hi again Dusty,  for your information I am a damn Yankee, and served in the Guadalcanal Campaign in 1942, am a USAF air force Trained pilot, but then you had no way to know this.

Well I respect you for your service to our great country, myself an Army man, and as such we are all brothers in our servitude. I appreciate a good joke or humor, even it is upon myself, but sometimes satire can be more cutting than funny. It can be a double edge sword that bites you back. See where I am coming from? I'm glad you all sorted all that out.

Welcome from a Texan with life-long ties to New Mexico and who now lives in Arizona (in other words, a huge part of my life has been spent in border states).   I've been an avid student of history for most of that life, and the relations between our countries have always had their ups and downs both on an "official" basis and on a broader societal basis.   Despite there being lots of good people on both sides of the border, not so good people on both sides of the border are making the border area (and relations in general) uncomfortable for everyone.  I hope that changes sooner rather than later, because I miss the older, calmer days.

But even without factoring in "border tensions" and the resulting prejudices, our hobby is one where all parties involve need to be really cautious, especially when going after the big strike.  Get to know your potential partners real well before you seriously think about going after that big ticket item.....regardless of where it is supposedly located and whether you have a common language or not.

That's just common sense that applies for all people during all periods of history anywhere in the world.
