 Hello to all.

Just getting ready for a new season here in Vancouver, and found this site doing some research. You seem like an ok lot so I joined  Tongue

I am very new to detecting, I bought a Garrett EuroAce 2 years ago and got out a few times that year, but  never got out once last year. I plan
on getting out much more this year, and hope to expand to more than the simple beach detecting I started out with. The Ace is a good starting MD
it seems, works well(too well in some ways) and with my recent research on how to use it better and some tests I have done in the yard I think I
am going to have a break-through season. Also, I will definitely be getting a pointer asap, seems to be a must have item.

Anyhow, greetings to all.

What's this winter you speak of? You must be from back east. Grin

As for getting out, I hope to get out tues or weds this week as I am eager to try some new things/places.
So far I have stuck to beaches as I am a little shy on digging holes in fields etc, but I have watched enough youtube
now to feel I get the idea and am sure there wil be little trace that I was even there when I am done. Need to pick up
that pointer asap, and a good sod tool.

Happy hunting!
