Hi guys !  Hello

I'm a Spanish guy who has been living in Belgium for over 20 years.
I work as an engineer for an american company and I'm very lucky to be able to travel worldwide thanks to my job.
I cover the regions of Africa and Russia ( including all the former soviet republics) so I'm more likely to travel to these places
Of course, it's near impossible to legally metal detect in those areas (not to mention some areas in Africa, where a white man alone in the middle of nowhere is an easy target for criminals), so during my travels I'm mostly doing urban exploration and scuba diving.

I am in the process of purchasing a large pickup truck so  I can haul all my stuff around (diving gear, metal detector, camping gear, motocross bike ...)

I have a scuba diving training from the army, and as an engineer I'm a rather tech friendly guy.

I'm looking to purchase my first metal detector, it will be most likely a Garrett Ace 250 (like everyone I believe  Detecting )

I'll also share my travels/explorations here, and I'm planning to start a youtube channel to share some videos
(As I have plenty of time to edit the videos during the airplane flights )

I think it's all I had to say, for now  Mad

Consider an underwater machine like the Tesoro Tiger Shark or Sand Shark. Both work well on land and down to 60 feet. I have more than one underwater machine and I love them all.

Welcome to our forums. You have a lot of reading to do.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

I also bought my pickup truck  Smiley it ended up being a 2003 Dodge RAM 1500. Rather unusual in Europe, so it has added redneck points more than in the US Grin
