 Hello
Hi I'm Bulldog. I'm 62, married, retired and having a wonderful time. I use the XP GoldMaxx Power and the Soveriegn GT. I live in the South East and am a member of two clubs, one in mid Sussex, the other in Surrey.
I've been detecting for some 17 years, but only been going out on the land for the last ten. Highlights of my detecting "career" are find my 1st hammered early this year and my one and only silver denerius last year, both on clubs site in Sussex.
The beach has been good to us (my wife and I), having found numerous rings over the years, and "the odd coin" here and there.

Thanks for the post Christian, as you say, I, (and my wife) have been detecting for a long time now, had many machines.
here's a couple of pictures of my finds at a local place in nthe last three weeks.
The pencil, although it looks silver in the picture is acyually 9cy gols, hallmarked 1941, and the buckle is around 1750, I was rather pleased with both. Been back to the same place, but nothing else came out. Off down to the beach tomorrow, (weather permitting), to see if we can find some old pre decimal coinage.
