Go Up Go Down

Hello to all, I'm GoldWolfen, used to be a young codger, now I'm an old codger. Started collecting when I was a child, likely the most interesting, if not most valuable, was a very small dinosaur footprint in a small rock, which I believe is now in the Smithsonian Institute, labeled the smallest known fossil print, because my dad left it in the old house when he moved to a new one while I was away at school. Anyway, I've hunted treasure, dredged and crushed, panned and tabled gold all over central and northwest Arizona, even found a bit here and there. My interests include fossils, gems, geodes, treasures, especially the Kokoweef tunnels, and a bit ancient treasure brought north from Central America in the 1500s.
I am currently about a hundred yards from the Big Bug Creek of central Arizona, and my metal detector quit working some time ago, leaving me with no reliable way to snipe here, and as it's a dry creekbed most of the year, and a raging torrent when it's running, I am unable to appease the beast that cries out for a bit of gold action. That's one of the reasons I joined here, I have a misbehaving Gold Traxx, and I'm hoping for a bit of advice on having it repaired. Any help would be greatly appreciated, my thanks to any who may be able to help with that.

         GoldWolfen

hmmmmm, being a hundred yards from Big Bug Creek can put you a whole lot of places in Arizona.   That's one of the windiest little streams I've ever seen.....but it is good country for doing what you've been trying to do

that's windiest as in most winding/twisting not as most windy (although the way the wind whips through some of those canyons.....)

GoldWolfen. I am a humble coinshooter. you're doing what I only dream of. While you wait for the creek to rise, if you would, describe your typical successful sniping day.
