Hello from E. Tennessee
My detecting hobby has be sporadic over the years, to many hobbies not enough time. Now that I'm getting older and slowing a little, I thought I would give it another shot. I currently own a BH Sharpshooter II, Fisher 1225X, Fisher F2 and just purchased a Teknetics T2 Classic. Have not had a lot of time with the T2 yet but it seems to be a nice unit. I enjoy reading the posts on this forum and hope to contribute to the group in the future. Thanks for all the interesting reading.

Welcome from Connecticut. In my young adult days, I used to go fishing in Bristol, TN. Naturally, my detectors came along. You have a historically rich area to hunt. I look forward to seeing your finds.

There are a bunch of other "old guys" on here! I'm currently 70 and there are several up and down from there! I have an older brother that lives in Tennessee, out in the boonies from Dover Big Rock area). Nice and historic country.
