Hi,
I'm new to this forum.  Spending more time on the computer since our heat is here.  I'm in S.California, (high desert).  I'm fortunate as I am literally sitting in gold country.  I even have black sands in my planters.  When I change the chickens' water, (black rubber dishes) I can see pyrite in the bottom.  My backyard is backed up the the dry wash.  So most of the "dirt" on the property is from the riverbed.  I think I'll detect that when it cools down here.

Welcome to the forum.  I look forward to seeing your finds.  And would also like to let you know that I would be happy to try and help with any questions that you may have about the DFX.  Feel free to message me with any questions you may have about it and I will do what I can to assisst.  I'm sure we have other DFX users on here that would be very happy to help with answering questions you may have as well.

The DFX is a very nice detector as Christian had stated and given time and patience to learn it it will bring you some nice finds I'm sure.  I've been quite pleased with some of the finds that the DFX has made for me.

Enjoy the forum and by all means feel free to message me with your DFX questions if you'd like.

BTW  Where are you located if you don't mind me asking?  I'm in NW Ohio.
