Hello, I am essentially new to metal detecting but I tinkered years ago. As I was going through my dads things I came across some of his finds that I did not know he had, several rings, metal coupons and some coins among other things. Anyway it got me interested so I went out and bought me a machine. I am loving it! I live in a home built in the late 1800's so I have a pretty good testing ground. So far a few relics and lots of modern coins but I did find a nice James Avery sterling silver ring on only my second day! Looking forward to many adventures and thanks for all the tips and tricks!
