Hello, my name is Todd. My wife bought me a metal detector for my birthday in October, not much just a bounty hunter tracker 4. Not fancy I know and I am already looking to upgrade... Haha! I have the bug after finding a couple of bullets, a musket ball, and an 1861 Queen Victoria One cent coin among a bunch of other cool items. I am always looking for new places to detect, glad to have found this forum and look forward to learning from all of you and seeing all of your cool finds.

Welcome from New Mexico Todd.

Don't be so fast to put down that detector.

There actually a pretty good machine.

Built a little on the cheap side but Performers all the same.

Yep!    It will find the Goods for ya.

Hello, Todd.   Welcome to THunting.com.   Let your detector at least pay for itself before you trade it in (unless you just happen to have a little extra money to spend)*   The things you learn trying to get the most you can out of your Bounty Hunter will pay serious dividends when you finally do get around to upgrading.

BA in AZ

* Don't ask Mrs BA if I actually follow my own advice about not buying a new detector before the current one pays for itself or not  Cheesy   ---- but at least I buy all mine gently used.

No worries about upgrading anytime soon, I plan to get as much use out of my current one as I can.
