Welcome aboard, Mick! If you dig down deep enough, you will land on my doorstep in Oz. There. I've just put a coin on the front lawn. See if you can find it.

No coins in use here that long ago. The best we can hope for is the occasional pre-decimal coin. But there's always a bit of magic in digging the target to see what is revealed. One never knows.

Golf ball sized nugget? Ha! Bigger. So big that I couldn't even find a truck strong enough to carry it home. Why, I left it there while I whittled away at it for years and years. There's a hole where I took it from that's big enough to hide a 757 jetliner. I keep mine parked there now.

Wise

You believe me, right?

thanks for the welcome eveyone. yes over the years i have detected from the north of scotland down to cornwall. try to stay local now as the price of gas is killing us over here, had some great finds including celtic gold saxon coins and artifacts a friend of mine found a hoard of 22,ooo roman coins a lot of them ended up in the states reason being the bulk of the coins were constantine and being the first christian emporer they were turned into medalions for sale to religeous groups.i now live near the coast at fairlight where there have been a number of wrecks over the centuries and when the october storms start when the wind is blowing east and rips off the sands down to the hardpack items from the wrecks are once again exposed.
