Hi, just joined, been lurking for a couple weeks. I'm bidding on a Tesoro right now on ebay and hoping I win it. Been using an old BH fast tracker just to get my feet wet the last 2 weeks. Our fair left town last Sunday and I went out to the midway Monday early and found $3.42 in clad. I spent 3 1/2 hrs without even realizing it. Time flew by, but my sore muscles sure knew it the next day. Guess this really is good exercise!  EJ

Welcome to the forums! You won't regret buying your Tesoro.

By your avatar, I see you are a lover of fine mechanical things like I am. I admire the inventor, now lost in history, of the compass. Whoever that ancient genius was, that person's invention began mankind's quest to find distant lands and return to them at will. As far as navigation goes, the advent of accurate timepieces is the second most important invention.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Hay EJ,

I am a Tesoro user.

I had a Technatics long ago. Then a BH QD II. Then a couple
of Fishers, 1266 and Coin Zapper or something like that. Then
a Garrett GTAx 500.

But when I got my hands on a Tesoro, I just stayed with them.
I have 5 Tesoroes now.

Hope yours serves you as well as they do me.

Welcome aboard from an old Arkie,

Tabdog

Thanks for the welcome, and golddigger I appreciate the compass as well, they are fascinating. I noticed your avatar first thing.
