Gidday all,

I know f...all about detecting and treasure hunting. Got a Discovery 2200 for Christmas and haven't had a chance to really try it out.
Are there any Aussies around Caboolture who can give me some pointers?
Thanks in advance

Welcome to the Forum.   Ya got a job ahead of you there.  We have more then a few members from down there here some place.  Give it a bit and they will show up.

That's one of those Complicated machines.   Shocked  They have more then three buttons !    Undecided

Going to take some time before you get PROFICIENT for sure!

Have a watch of this video if you've not seen it be for.

We expect a full report of all finds in your yard some time in the morning.   The whole enchilada !   Nuts, Bolts, Nails,  bits and bobs and any change.

I have a Bounty Hunter 101 (Super Basic) and the LS Camo .

Bounty Hunter machines are Under rated.  Good Machines for the Price .

Get your self a coil Protector if you don't have one already.  There coils don't take pinging rocks so well.

Again Welcome see you on the Forum.
