Go Up Go Down

Hi I am new to detectors and treasure hunting.  I am from Illinois.  I am looking to buy my first detector.  I want to spend around $300, I have been doing some searching and reading reviews on kellyco.  What is a solid machine that will give me the fewest problems?  Thanks for any advice.

Dean

I just recently placed an order with KellyCo as well, but upgraded instead to the Ace 350, and I've been very happy with the results. They have a couple packages there where you get some magazine, treasure pouch, digger, etc. So go check it out. An Ace 250 I heard are very good machines. Good luck!

  Hello fourfingers
Check out the Tesoro line of machines. The silver umax will run you around 250.00$
This is a great lite machine 2.2lbs.turn on and go,very simple machine, life time warranty and top shelf customer service.  Great
I do mostly coin shooting with this unit and once you get use to the tone you will find the silver....
Good luck with you decision.

Hello fourfingers.....welcome from Arizona.    If you want a really solid machine and you don't have to have the digital displays, it is very hard to beat a Tesoro.   If you want the digital displays, then the Garrett Ace 250/Garrett Ace 350/Garrett ATPro, the Fisher F4,  or the White's Coinmaster Pro should all fit your bill....choosing between them is like choosing between different car manufacturers in the same price range.

I recently bought a Fisher F2 from Kellyco and I'm pretty happy with it. Use the customer service at Kellyco, tell 'em what you want to hunt and they'll recommend a few models for you.
