Just started a Pi detector. Pancake coil using the inner of satalite tv cable to get low self capacitance. With about Three turns at each diameter its bulky filling 8” to 10” diameter. Srf > 2MHz. Drive circuit is running well enough that aluminum foil at 2” from the coil literally buzzes audiably. No I dont have any audio circits or speakers, this is the foil making sound. Has anyone else ever noticed this?

Your resonating the target.  The Magnetic Pulses are producing a fluctuating current within the target.  These currents are polarizing the aluminum back and forth enough to cause it to physically change shape enough to produce a sound.  Cool, eaa ?    Like a loose winding on a transformer will buzz.

 Photo's are always a Plus .

Welcome from Kansas! Now just crank up the juice and maybe the target will just vibrate itself out of the ground! Cheesy
