Hey guy's and gal's ....

Has anyone ever used or have heard (reliable sources) information about the Whites MXT Max 15" coil?

Questions:

Is it worth the $249 asking price?
Does it really go deep? (like 20-30+ inches)

and lastly, if the answer to both of those questions is yes, then would it be a decent trade if I asked for the Max 15" coil + a Coin master GT + a long handled sand scoop, in exchange for my MX5?

(my son want's a simpler unit one that shows the coins) (go figure)...
I only have $300 invested in the MX5. I will still use the MXT-Pro.

I really appreciate your info..
P.s (I am still a newbie)

Sounds like a soure deal to me.   Personally I would never pay that kind of money for any coil.  There are other options for me.
