I'm new to treasure hunting and new to this site. I remember a few years ago hearing about carves markings scattered through out the county on trees and rocks etc that were possibly spanish.  Does anyone have any info on this and is there any tales of Spanish treasure in eastern ok close to border of fort smith,Ar area....thanks.  also does anyone have any tips on where to start in treasure hunting....books maps etc.  Thank you

Will do and though finding valuables would be awesome I'd be just as equally excited to find anything.  I'm going to try and get the family and some of our close friends to do this as a hobby and a way to get the kids interested in history.  Thanks for replying.
