Hello
Look at this graph when we measure the RX frequency from the readings on scope of the TGSL 101 part documment there are many errors .
1-Time per division here should be 50 us and not 20 us.
2- RX signal period is the same as the TX periode so RX runs at 14.5 khz and not 16.12 as he said «  C6 in parallel with the Rx coil tunes our Rx circuit to about 16.12 kHz
(off resonance) » it’s not found on the screen shoot of the scope.
3- RX amplitude is about 220 mv on the output of IC u101a « op amp of RX » pin 7.
4-can any one make how to calculate the 20° between RX and TX from the screen shoot of the scope in the the TGSL -101- part . I di dit more time but I didn’t get 20°
Please replay this is very important for me to complete my TGSL project.
Thank you in advance
Best regards

Build as Document Describes and it will work.  Many Many have been built and are in uses.  I just ordered two PCB's today.  The 20 Degree off set is caused by the Rx tuned of Frequency.   Smiley

Look at the Screen Shot.  The two waves are OFFSET.

but when we calculate the RX frequency from the screen shot we will find it 14.5khz and not 16.12khz.
thank you

Yes.  The Receive is Tuned Off Freq in order to produce the Phase Change required to Discriminate.

My guess is they are using the Tx freq to trigger the scope and what your seeing on the Rx is the Resulting Wave Form Delayed as required.

16.12 - 14.5  = 1.62Khz off set.   The Op Amp seeing the two coming in at the same time would translate that as a phase change.  Using the original Tx signal Compared with the Rx signal is used for Discrimination values.

Build as Documented and all will work.

Maybe this will Help you.  Or is this You ?
