can we make a big coil for Vlf metal detector ; 2m in diameter or 1m  like PI detctors ?

The reason why you can't is because the detector was not designed to drive such a big coil.

VLF uses Phase to target.   With a Coil of that size you would have more EMI/RFI then Target.   This is why PI was Invented.
