Glad to help. Even got my X3 fixed. Found one broken wire inside. New solder and its good to go!!

 :)i've got all the of the wires exept one back on.put abattery in and it makes a loud steady tone, like battery test,but won't stop.i'll keep probing till i find where it goes.  kenjr
