The age of the book is 1975, and is by Garrett.  My grandfather used to have a metal detector and it was by Garrett.  Just found this Manual in a old file cabinet.  Might be a use to someone, or maybe not. It is still interesting, though.

BFO-TR With Discriminating Circuitry

That is a long while ago---detectors have been highly improved since those old units were in use.I doubt it would be of any use unless of course a person merely wanted it for the sake of having it for a keepsake----VLF units can run circles around those BFO or TR units.
