Pretty amazing story the first oil rig and untold to the world. I wonder if there is some old photographs of it somewhere?

I wonder who first thought of drilling under the sea for oil?

I have never heard of or seen these before, its so very interesting, shame they cant upkeep em, for historical purposes, like they do for many lighthouses now a days.. but I loved the story too.. thanks for sharing a interesting peice of history.. I loved it.
