old canals in Buffalo N.Y.

Has anyone searched along the old canals in Buffalo  I saw a show were they were touring the old canals and such i thought it would be cool to search along whats left of the old ones or down in the dry old ones  based on the amount of goods and people nearby  those could be worth a check  [You are not allowed to view links.
