Hello All

I think every treasure hunter is a rock collector. Wink We just cannot help ourselves  Grin

Thanks Seldom for the informative and interesting post.

So interesting its got myself thinking about getting a tumbler. I have obtained rock samples from all over the world.

I have had many funny looks when traveling through customs and they find rocks. Grin

Ever heard of thunder eggs?

Hardluck.  Smiley

I don't think the rock portion is much more than a facade.  The building is probably thick adobe brick with a rock face about  3 or 4 inches thick (if it's more than 6, I'd be surprised).
if you look real close at the 2nd picture, you'll see the rock layer only appears to be as thick as the fence post (so maybe 3 inches)
