Hi wltdwiz
Could you answer a question?
Why don’t you ship outside US? I am not interested on the detector; just I want to know what is the reason that you and so many EBay sellers in the states don’t ship out side of US.
There are so many older detectors I want to buy to collect but it’s always the same hurdle. Thanks for your time

its a large hassle
i live outside of town to ship out of the us i have to make a 60 mile round trip drive then fill out customs forms & pay extra shipping .
ive personally had to eat the extra shipping costs from shipping out of the us more than once.
so i desired no more
sorry

Customs in the country items are sent to can mess thing up most well.
Sometimes the Duties on the Item are more then the Price of the Item It's Self.

I think filling up those custom export forms in triplicate is the problem.
Import duty in Australia is not a problem, and shipping it’s about $50-$70 Australian dollars. That's what Kellyco charging for shipping a detector to Melbourne

Find out how much it weights and then go tot he USPS site. Fill in the amounts and see how much it costs. Then, if you are satisfied with the cost, contact me by PM and we can arrange shipment to you at actual cost rather than KellyCo cost. They shiip free to the US.

Thank you for the offer GD.
What I was trying to say is that the shipping cost it’s not that bad, for a parcel that travel cross the glob.
And it something that I am prepared to pay. But the EBay sellers just don’t want to ship outside US preparing the paper work it’s tooooooo hard.
Thank's again for the offer

I looked up a 35 pound packaged to Australia and it was about $37.00 by air mail. Like you say, that's dirt cheap for a package going half way around the world.
