Update! My Ebay Site for Metal Detectors

(1/2) > >>

mikewaz:
Hi Everyone,

I have an Ebay site dedicated to nothing but metal detectors. It is a lot easier to search for your favorite detector because of the categories I have set up. The listings will also display many of the common misspellings for detectors that normally do not show up in an average search, which means some very good deals at times.

If nothing else, it is a great site to check current prices of both new and used detectors, headphones, digging tools, etc,,,

Here is the link............ You are not allowed to view links.

Nice and handy site! How did you install this shipwreckstore banner? I think it would fit Christian's site, too.

Alain

Hi Alain,

The Shipwreck store banner came from Commission Junction. They're the ones that run the affiliate program for Odyssey.
If he doesn't already have an account he'll have to sign up there first, get approved, find the program he wants to promote, apply, wait for approval by them (usually a day or two), and then grab the banner code. PM me if you need any more help.

Thanks String,

It's still a work in progress. I want to break it up into even more categories to make it the easiest search for metal detectors on Ebay.

I think you're doing a great job with it.  Really like the addition of the clips video on the main page.  Great video.

Thanks again, and yeah, I know some of those guys should practice a little more with their pinpointing. One of them commented that the bigger plugs retain more moisture so it's supposedly better. If I can't cut a flap for some reason, I cut a D shaped plug so there's only one way to put them back.
Come on Springtime!

Just wanted to give everyone an update on the Ebay auctions.

For the last 6 weeks or so the used listings have been few and far between. I tweak my site weekly if not daily and always look for good deals, but it was really slow lately. I also post some of the better listings on another forum because quite a few of the members ask me to keep an eye out for XTerras, Explorers etc... and to notify them when I find something in their price range.

I was busy doing other chores all week, but was finally able to do some poking around tonight and was shocked at the amount of deals surfacing again. I think people finally realized winters about over and they might want a new detector for Spring.

Right now there are around 5 Explorers for sale and all at great prices. I saw 2 SE's, a couple of Explorer II's, a like new XS, plus a fantastic deal on a Gemini-3 and a Fisher F75 which is only a few weeks old and at a steal (so far) and all ending before this weekends up.

If you've been considering a used Minelab, Fisher, Garrett, etc..., now looks like a great time.
Also, if anyone wants me to keep an eye out for a specific model, PM me and I'll do my best.

Happy Hunting!
Mike
