Happy New Year !!! For any member here who is looking for a two-box , for the price the two box Fisher Gemini is very Good . I go searching at pawn shops and a few months back I saw one a Fisher Gemini-II for $75.00 u.s. Dollars , I did not buy it , I went back , it was gone  Angry......Big mistake .........Its a good Deep-seeker crytal controlled frequency 70 -80 khz , so mineralization should not be a problem . Attached here is informative instruction document............If you see a cheap Gemini , working or not , BUY IT !!!!!!!!.........Regards...........Eugene52

I'm no fan of ten-turn ground bal---but the Whites 5900 is a very good metal detector-a friend had one and a 6000 DI Pro also----the type that used c-bats in bat holder--not thenew one with AA batteries.   One of my friends who detects with me often just bought a 2-box unit ---a Treasure Baron TF-900   And let me tell you, it is capable of some great depths. You see, Whites used to contract with Treasure Baron owner to let him manufacture the Whites TM-808  And now White's builds their own. The TF-900  is a super 2-box unit and can even be purchased from Treasure Baron's owner for around $ 499.oo   Now that's cheaper than the Whites TM-808 and it is as good or better than the TM-808. Treasure Baron is located somewhere in Texas I believe.  A 15 inch coil on a good detector can reach 2-foot depth on a jar-sized object in most cases and I'd doubt that a jar catch would be much over two feet in the ground anyhow. Most folks back then would bury the cache within arm distance of the surface of the ground in order to reach in and retrieve the jar and place it back in ground when necessary.
