Ali . the coil is not THAT important ( as long as it is not shorted out )   . My advice to you is to get yourself  a new set of IC's   and change everything else besides the resistors and capacitors  . Be carefull while taking the transistors out and do a good soldering job . Get yourself a good soldering iron .  get a solder pump to get the old solder off . Don't play around with the wirung any longer . You do not know enough about circuits to repair the one you have .     Cornelius

Yes, this story is getting more confusing. I agree, try changing all the IC's, no better idea.

Include the TIP 31 A and the  diodes  ( 1N4001 and  1N4148  ) do not order the  IC 3  because you do not need that one .   Cornelius

Ali . It is possible that you cannot find the IC 709 in the form I use it on your board . Take the older type 709 out and replace it with a  8 dill socket  . Now you can order the newer kind of the 709 that will fit in this socket  .  Cornelius

Ok well I may be wrong but personally I don't think that there is any thing wrong with those IC's but we will see once they are replaced .

Xavier .  No there is possibly nothing wrong with the  IC's , but for Ali it would be better to change them all . I think it is the TIP 31A that is out because when the coil was short circuited it was subject to the full load . Maybe I am wrong but .... you never know .  Cornelius
